Cynthia
M. Gregg, MD, received her undergraduate degree in Chemisty from the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also obtained her medical degree
from the University of North Carolina, after receiving four prestigious
awards for academic achievement. She completed a five-year residency in Head and
Neck Surgery at the University of Michigan, winning the renowned Merle Lawrence
Research award during her tenure. She then earned a
fellowship, accredited by the American Academy of
Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, at the Center for Facial Cosmetic
Surgery at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Gregg served as an Assistant Professor of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgery at Duke University Medical
Center prior to entering into private practice in Cary.
Dr.
Gregg is committed to continuing medical education and research, has authored
numerous publications and has been a requested speaker at many national
meetings. She serves on national committees for both the American
Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Gregg
specializes in all
aspects of facial cosmetic surgery.
Dr.
Gregg is well known for her expertise and compassion and has provided pro bono
surgeries for survivors of domestic violence through the Face-to-Face
Program. Her participation in this program was featured nationally
on Oprah.
